RT-1944/U Tactical Networked Radio
| The RT-1944/U Tactical Network Radio provides wireless network service for both Line-Of-Sight (LOS) and Beyond-Line-Of-Sight (BLOS), via relay, data and/or video links. Transparent TCP/IP routing provides for network operations in the most challenging of remote sensor applications as required by FORCEnet and other NetCentric operations.

The user realized data for a 54 Mbps link burst rate, is greater than 36 Mbps. The Tactical Network Radio Terminal adapts to link conditions, varying link burst rate and waveform as dictated by the link. Link burst rates as low as 6 Mbps, using a BPSK waveform, and as high as the 54 Mbps 64QAM waveform, are accommodated. The RT-1944/U is a programmable, wideband, secure, networked communications system, which provides data, imagery, and streaming video transmission. The terminal is configured for ground, shipboard, and airborne platforms. The basic system provides coverage on four bands, from 2.2 to 6 GHz and two additional L-Bands, with an optional/integral up/down converter. All bands are JSC Global Operation approved Tactical Bands. |
